To be able to search and view several of the sites function the user must first sign up and enter thier details e.g. first lane, last name. etc.
After completing the sign up procedure an e-mail will be sent to the user confirming that they are no eligible to use Myspace. The user must now enter their E-mail address and Password.
After successfully logging in the user can now edit their profile to what he/she desires. the user can edit such details as “User name”, “About Me”, “Address”, “Contact info” etc.
I personally have used the Myspace website and have found it very easy to use. there are however a few disadvantages the site has such as:
-
There is a privacy setting for your profile but that means no one can see your profile. There is no way to allow people to see your profile but still keep them from emailing your and trying to add you to their friends list. You may get a lot of people trying to add you and if you don’t want just anyone sending you messages then this can become a bigbother.
-
there is no way for you to simple create your own unique profile page directly from MySpace.
